About Betsy Wilson, Founder of Let's Face It USA
Betsy Wilson, Director of Let's Face It, is an early childhood educator with a Masters Degree as an early childhood educator. Her thesis was titled The Child In the Health Care Setting. She has been a Child Life Specialist in hospitals in Rhode Island, Maine, Florida, and Missouri. She is the parent of an adult born with craniosynostosis. Betsy lost part of her face and jaw to cancer in 1972. She brought the Let's Face It support network to the United States from England in 1987, and has ever since served as an advocate for persons with facial differences.
