Welcome to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry’s DEI-MAC’s PRIDE Celebration! As part of our ongoing mission to create an atmosphere where students, staff, faculty and patients can interact and benefit in a supportive environment by promoting justice and by exploring and celebrating differences and similarities, we recognize the month of June as LGBTQI+ PRIDE Month by encompassing a month-long+ series of events. Through this series of events we aim to educate dental students, staff, faculty, and professionals, as well as the community at large, about diversity issues in hopes of encouraging awareness, mentoring students, as well as providing perspectives in treating a diverse patient population. Please join us as we celebrate PRIDE Month here at our School this June and throughout the coming year.
