The main goal of the 2017 Kenya Program was to create and implement a sustainable program to prevent and reduce oral disease for children at schools in and around the city of Meru. This was accomplished through the delivery of prevention-based education and basic preventive dental treatments, including the application of fluoride varnish, sealants and silver diamine fluoride.
