Michigan Brazil Symposium

March 27 - March 28, 2017

ABOUT

The Michigan-Brazilian Research Symposium is a two day seminar for faculty and students intended to highlight the latest research at home and abroad and to foster an environment for collaboration and discovery. The symposium is an important component of an ongoing agreement of collaboration between the University of Michigan and two Brazilian Universities, the University of Sao Paulo and the University of Rio Grande do Sul. The 2017 symposium will be the sixth symposium, and the second to take place at the University of Michigan. The first symposium took place in Brazil in 2008, several University of Michigan faculty members were in attendance. These symposia have led successfully to numerous collaborations, publications and grants.
